Digital Course Academy is a course that helps coach, trainers, experts and anyone who has expertise in an area to create digital courses, build up their own brand, and generate revenue through live and evergreen instructor-led webinar launches.

At the end of this review, I will also reveal a better alternative that has allowed me to earn full time passive income online.

We will tell you all about Digital Course Academy to help you decide if it's good for you.

What Is Digital Course Academy?

Digital Courses Academy is a 12-week program that helps anyone to create digital courses to generate income from live webinars. This type of training has unlimited potential for new customers who are looking for strategies for generating revenue, whether on your website or through other channels.

Who Is It's Founder?

This course was created by Amy Porterfield. She teaches business owners, educators, and entrepreneurs how to establish a highly active email list and use online marketing strategies to generate profits for their business.

Amy is a California resident who has a Podcast called "Online Marketing Made Easy" and writes for ENTREPRENEUR.

In the past year, she has been heavily involved in helping companies launch their own successful social media campaigns and she recently had the opportunity to work with Tony Robbins.

She is an author and was named by Forbes as one of the Top 50 Social Media Power Influencers.

As of this year, she has accumulated over $15 million dollars from her digital courses and is definitely a force to be reckoned with. She not only inspires others, but also forces brands to take notice.

Amy Porterfield created a program called the List Builders Society, which is also called the List Builders Lab. This program helps your list building grow by providing step-by-step instructions and a guide to get started.

In January of 2019, Amy Porterfield launched her Digital Course Academy and she made $3.5 million in sales from that launch.

Not too shabby. ;)

What Should You Expected From Digital Course Academy?

The Digital Course Academy (DCA) framework was created by Amy after 12 years of creating courses for a lot of people and then later for herself.

The program provides a high-level overview of what most new course creators will go through, from coming up with a creative strategy to planning and executing the course. The course has 8 modules in total and 2 bonus modules.

Students will also enjoy multiple implementation weeks to work on important topics with practical sessions and activities.

The course is structured as follows:

Module 1: The first module helps you plan out the different phases of how to create and launch a course. It gives you an overview and framework for making the key initial decisions. You will also get access to an interactive outline, as well as methods for creating a course. This outline and guide will help you generate better content so that your course launches successfully.

Module 2: This module will help you craft your course idea into a solid one by providing practical exercises and step-by-step instructions specific to the topic. So, you can create a course that focuses on your audience's needs and what your business is best at. This will help ensure you have a high level of success. You will also learn how to collect feedback from your target audience on social media and what questions you need to ask them so that you can create a better course.

Module 3: In this module, Amy explains the process of turning your ideas in your head into an outline. She walks you through how to turn expertise into actionable advice and exercises. This module also gives you insights on how to include supporting content and exercises, how much content should be included in a course, how you can price a course and how to choose a name for it.

Module 4: This module provides instructions on how to record videos that are likely to reach a larger audience. You will also learn about important considerations, tools, and your distribution options - such as what software to use and what equipment to buy.

Module 5: This module of the course covers how to launch your course through webinars. What you will find when downloading this module is a precise blueprint that covers all aspects of creating a successful webinar. Getting started with online courses means understanding the exact sales funnel you want to use and how to create an irresistible marketing pitch.

In addition, you'll also learn how to make a live webinar that generates a lot of sales. You can also take in-depth training and get tips for creating a compelling webinar. In addition, they will make sure you have all the technical information relevant to your event.

Module 6: The world of Facebook ads gets really interesting especially because Rick Mulready makes a surprising appearance and teaches you how to use the FB Live functionality in order to generate traffic for your webinar, it's all part of this module. You also learn how to create a compelling sequence of emails that will act as the basis for your sale, and how to set up goals for the webinar to optimize engagement.

Module 7: This module is going to help you take your webinar strategy to the next level. Part of this new strategy will be focusing on using webinar replays. Most of your prospective customers won't be ready to buy the moment they sign up for a webinar. You'll have to give them a nudge or two before you can turn them into buyers and this module will show you exactly how to do that.

Is Digital Course Academy Worth The Price?

Well, the course is expensive for the average person, but the quality of the program is top notch. So if you are a coach, trainer, expert or want to sell your own product online, this program may be a good fit for you.

Digital Course Academy Review - Final Thoughts

The founder is a great instructor, the material is quite extensive, and any business person or entrepreneur can learn a lot from DCA. However, it’s quite expensive and you need to invest a considerable amount of your time to set everything up.

Also, they teach to sell using the webinar model which is an extremely unforgiving model. That means that if you don’t get really good at presenting via webinars, you will find it very difficult to make sales and get into profit.

I've personally spent over $70,000 on webinars, paid ads and courses specific to webinars and after over a decade of marketing experience, I can honestly tell you that this is the toughest marketing skill to get good at.

Kudos if you can do it, but most people will never get into profit.

Combine that with Facebook Ads which is very expensive and difficult to master (plus they love to shut ad accounts down for all sorts of weird reasons), and you have quite a massive wall to get over.

The other thing to consider is if you're not ready to sell your own product or are not an expert in anything, this might not be the right program or path for you at this stage.

But perhaps you still wanna make money online and build some freedom and automation into your life...

If so, it’s very important to take a few things into consideration…

  • Profit Margins

  • Scalability

  • Automation

  • Overall Cost

  • Barrier To Entry

There is one business model that has all of this and doesn't require you to be an expert right this second...

Affiliate Marketing.

Yes – selling other people’s digital products online.
