Anyhoo... onto the review ;-)

What Is Lurn?

Lurn was founded in 2004 by Anik Singhal, a specialist in the digital marketing space. He crafted and perfected the program, which made him a lot of money.

Lurn was designed to help you launch, nurture and run a thriving digital business.

The platform supports entrepreneurs whose goal is to share useful information and talk about strategies for growth in the online marketing space.

How Does It Work?

Lurn helps educate entrepreneurs. It offers digital marketing lessons to empower people to become better entrepreneurs. The platform allows entrepreneurs to develop, rollout and grow successful businesses. It can help you formulate and grow your passion into a business, encourage people to act on ideas with the potential to change the world and teach people how they can become successful as online entrepreneurs.

The platform can be found in the following forms;

⊛ Community - people working together
⊛ Coaches – you are linked with a coach who helps you realize your entrepreneurial goals
⊛ Courses – you learn the best way to overcome obstacles that hinder your growth

How Is The Course Structured?

The course is structured into three key modules.

Day Zero

This is the start of your journey experience for anyone who signs up on Lurn. This module features Les Brown – Stop and Think, Gratitude, Goals, Prepare to Fail as well as Sacrifice and Focus videos. Once you watch these and complete the accompanying assignment, you are all done. The next module is Day 1 and 2.

Day 1 and 2

In the following two days, you will be taken through a bootcamp. Here you will learn basic terms and the skills you need to set up a thriving business.

The founder teaches Day 1 and 2 and it is about scaling mindset techniques. The purpose of this lesson is to prepare your mind for growth and scaling. Once you are done with Day 1 and 2, and the accompanying assessment, you will be ready for what comes next.

Day 3 to 21

This module is designed to help you use what you have learnt in the previous two modules. The course presents you with a daily progress report. Between Days 3 and 9, you learn about internet businesses, how to choose a niche, monetize your ideas, set up an opt-in page, and how to sign up for Sendlane (an email autoresponder).

Once you go through all 21 items of the course, you are ready to receive your certification. The program also features the following upsells…

$10k Formula

Lurn also offers the $10k Formula as an upsell. This is a course that teaches how to select an area of focus and then set up an opt-in page for the business. You also learn lead generation, selecting an affiliate offer, composing an email list, and how to get people to visit your site.

There are case studies as well that teach you how to scale and grow your business into something profitable.

Email Mastery

This lesson teaches how to craft emails that convert. You get to learn how chart your path in email marketing. The course features everything you need to succeed at it, including examples of campaigns that generated huge revenues.

Lurn Review: Who Is It For?

The modules in the course are structured to benefit total beginners. If you are just starting out in the world of online business, this course is for you. In this course you get to learn about the various aspects of digital businesses even if you come with experience. This kind of material is often sought out by people who want legitimate business options.

Note that if you have a lot of money at your disposal, you will benefit even more from their premium level content.

Who Is It Not For?

If you are a small online business or an individual who is not able to afford a lot of money all at once, this course might not benefit you. Also, it is not ideal for people who have not already made up their mind on what kind of digital business they would like to set up and run. The platform has very many options, so it is easy to get confused and get stuck in information paralysis which is the worst thing that can happen to someone just getting started.

Is Lurn A Scam?

The course is legitimate and so is Anik. In fact he is one of the oldies and guru’s of the online world.

The only issue I have with the platform is that their sales video isn’t that straightforward – it does not tell you what you will actually learn in the course. What happens is that they will surprise you with a lot of upsells (which is ok when sold correctly), but can be a little annoying if you need them to be successful.

Is Lurn Worth It?

Well, yes. The platform can teach you quite a lot about online entrepreneurship. The content on the site has potential and you stand a high chance of succeeding as a digital marketer.

However, if your budget is modest, there’s too much to buy, and you will constantly be hit with upsells. The program treats people more like buyers, rather than students.

What Are Its Pros And Cons?

PROS

  • You have access to free training content

  • Setting up is easy

  • The content inspires and is easy to understand

  • You have access to a range of tools and software that you can use to set up and run a business

  • They offer a refund policy

  • Anik is a trustworthy trainer

CONS

  • The course is costly

  • There have been complaints of some of their tools not working properly

Lurn Video Review

Conclusion

The platform is a great place to learn digital marketing and online entrepreneurship. But it is not for everyone. You need a deep pockets to access the material they use to teach. Those who can afford it have a bigger chance of succeeding.

The cost of the program is at least $3000, and that includes the upsells. By the time you are through with the course, you may not have much money left to set up a business, which can be a big issue.

If you want to grow a successful business online…

You need to consider all these things…

  • Profit Margins

  • Scalability

  • Automation

  • Overall Cost

  • Barrier To Entry

There is one online strategy and business that combines all of these and that’s Affiliate Marketing done

THIS WAY.
